The U.S. & Texas LawShield\u00ae organization was founded in 2009, when a group of pioneering lawyers became fed up with the hostility and abuse in the legal system directed towards responsible gun owners. Every day, they saw innocent people suffering the terrible consequences of someone else\u2019s choice to commit crime. And to make matters worse, those people were tied up in the legal system, struggling to defend themselves\u2026for defending themselves. Innocent people were experiencing financial duress, bankruptcy\u2014or worst of all, going to jail.<\/p>

The Second Amendment states \u201c\u2026the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.\u201d And yet, every day, our founders saw innocent, responsible gun owners experiencing mistreatment in the legal system\u2014as if they were the ones that had done something wrong. To fight these injustices, our founders chose to stand up for the rights of the American people and become a champion for good and the voice of justice.<\/p>

That\u2019s when the idea for U.S. & Texas LawShield was born: the first program to truly provide Legal Defense for Self-Defense. Our mission is to educate our members in self-defense law; empower them to handle critical, life-threatening situations with confidence; and protect them from potential injustices in the legal system after acts of self-defense. We believe in empowering our members through knowledge, education, and a self-defense mindset. We challenge the status quo regarding the affordability of legal defense. We exist to support and protect their fundamental legal rights in a potentially hostile legal system.<\/p>

Our vision is to create a united movement of life-saving awareness, from protecting your liberties and freedoms, to ongoing education and preparedness, to specialized first aid certification, to taking responsible self-defense measures, so that all Americans are vigilant and empowered. We are driven by our love of America, freedom, and family. We are a strength-in-numbers community that ensures equal access to justice and affordable legal representation for our members. Our higher purpose is to create a united community of responsible individuals who believe in liberty and the inalienable right of self-defense.<\/p>
